Today is Thanksgiving. Time for family & friends. Sady, thanks to the Watchtower Org., I have few of either. Lots of early Christmas Sales to look forward to, but no one to buy for. Am I experiencing the "holiday blues" or is there more to it since I've never celebrated anything??? It seems like such a lonely time. Do any of you feel this way?

she finished and was on her way when a police car drew up beside her and asked her to stop.

What I have to say is not directed to you in any way. But, your comment made me think of some stories in the Bible about children.
When I read things like this I DO WANT JEHOVAH TO DO SOMETHING!!!!!
The world is guilty of exploiting children for money. Sex slaves, murder, internet pornography, rape, sodomy etc. is done to children around the globe on a daily basis, minute by minute. If Jehovah is there, he has been watching.
btw...watching these things is a form of deviance.
Slavery was common in the bible as were sex slaves and the murder of little children.
However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. Well, the old British hasbeen pedifile is back in the news.
In 1997 Gary took his computer to PC WORLD and one of the computer nerds noticed a large amount of child porn on the hard drive and called police. Gary was arrested in 1999 and spent Four months in prison for child pornography.
After Gary got out of prison he moved to Cambodia. (hmmm) Cambodia kicked him out because the government argued that he was a threat to Cambodia's security and its image.
Apparently, Gary has recently been living in Vietnam. (hmmm) He was arrested while he was trying to board a plane to Bankok (hmmm). He is wanted for questioning for the abuse of a 12 year old girl. The Vietnamese police said he has been living with underage girls for at least the last month.
Under Vietnamese law, sex with a minor can result in prison terms of between one and 15 years and raping a minor can be punished by death.
One more example that pedifiles are sick predators who will go to any length to satisfy their disgusting cravings for little children.

Embarrassing things that happened to you on the platform?
by Jordan ini remember one of my last talks, it was a bible reading, i was 15, and on crutches.
i tripped getting up on the platform and took the mic stand with me.
that was embarrassing.

since i have been on the platform many times, i've had quite a few.
one that popped in my head was...
i was a householder, and the sister giving the talk totally went blank. i tried prompting her with her next line and nothing worked. she finally said an exasperated "oh shit!" into the mic and left the platform. i sat there for a few seconds and realized everyone was looking at me with wide eyes,,,i think i made a funny face and left the platform. the brother conducting the school gave her a "g" for effort. lol
